Yeah I really don't like this Season, I hate it more than Season 8 in fact, and Phoebe is the primary reason, she's at her absolute worst in this season because of her empath power. When Phoebe gains ehpathic powers, it does nothing to give her any empathy, it just lets her complain to people how their feelings inconvenience her. Personally I would've liked it had Piper's story arc had been about her struggle for her child's happiness. Like she could still keep the bind of wanting to fight evil or not, but make Wyatt come down to a decision on his own. Kinda what they did with Paige in Season 4, make Wyatt choose what school he wanted to go to, and Piper could choose because she cares about the happiness of her child. I know this is post Season 4 Piper and that would never happen, but I think it would've been the better execution, getting past the Leo missed parts first. Hell their struggling marriage could've been a good topic to touch upon as well.
I'm very surprised how you guys didn't talk about how just neglectful and negligable Piper and Phoebe have become when it comes to their wiccan duties, they've just outright abandoned their witch duties at this point. Or Paige's journey to want to find her identity. Also there's another episode which I found to be the worst episode of the Season titled "Hyde School Reunion" where Phoebe accidentally casts a spell by reading an old yearbook poem, and gets transformed to her younger self from High School. The episode is just riddled with everything wrong with Phoebe's character, and it ends up one of her classmates was a criminal who holds Phoebe and her friend hostage and rather than have Paige simply orb her out or orb the gun away Phoebe solves this situation by having Paige glamour the guy to look like Chris (who was currently being chased by demons) and have him get melted by acid spewing demons, so Phoebe (and by extension Paige) let a mortal human get killed, which goes against the lesson taught in the Season 2 episode Morality Bites.
